Anne Michalov, 1904-1992

Education:  Art Institute of Chicago.

During the WPA Michalov created murals for Chicago schools and exhibited at the New York World’s Fair in 1939.  She is best know for her paintings and water colors of small US towns in the 30’s and moved to and painted in the Portland area after WWII.
